My Cheviot cushions are inspired by the gentle rolling Cheviot hills which straddle the border between England and Scotland.

These hills are very green when spring arrives. The hills become ablaze with purple heather in summer. Autumn brings colours of rust to these magical hills. Sunrise and sunsets are beautiful all year round.

I have therefore included in my design two different types of fabric, 100% wool and other fabrics with a diagonal border between them. This represents the historic border and the seasonal colours of the hills.
