Thistle Cushions

The design of my thistle cushions are inspired by the rich colours of Scotland. I use mostly pure soft wool fabrics and a thistle pattern in these designs.

I could not ignore this wonderful Scottish flower. Common throughout the highlands, islands and lowlands of Scotland, the prickly purple thistle has been Scotland’s national emblem for centuries.
