Ellon Castle Gardens Summer Fair

Central to the lovely market town of Ellon in Aberdeenshire are the historic and captivating walled Gardens of Ellon Castle. Within this superb setting and surrounded by history, fauna and flower will be a tented Ellon Castle Summer Fair comprising of charming Scottish wares and refreshments. A great opportunity to purchase something uniquely delightful or wonderfully tasty and handmade in Scotland. 

Certainly lots of Pâtissiers, textiles, gins & artists to silversmiths, jewellers, bakers & seamstresses all demonstrating how traditional techniques are still used to make beautiful & contemporary items.

Ellon Castle Gardens is a fascinating microcosm of the history of North East Scotland. There are tales of a neighbourly dispute ending in murder, a mistress installed in the Castle, and disillusioned Jacobite supporters. The narrative of the old Castle is interwoven with historical events of local, regional and national significance.

Come and meet our eclectic array of artisans from across Scotland, discuss their techniques, sample their wares, view their products and maybe purchase something unique. Street food will be available, such as crayfish baguettes, seafood wraps, lobster and prawn burritos.
