Thirlestane Castle Festival of Motoring

Join me at the Thirlestane Castle Festival of Motoring, the premier classic car show in Scotland. Annually held at Thirlestane Castle for over 16 years and organised by the Borders Vintage Automobile Club.

This festival of motoring attracts over 1,000 classic and vintage cars of all models and styles, plus motorcycle and military vehicle displays. In addition, visitors can enjoy live rally action, a craft area, arena stunt shows, pipe band displays and a children’s play area. Combined with plenty of retail, food and drink exhibitors, there really is something for all the family. Well behaved dogs are welcome to join in the fun as well!

Attending will be a selection of Homeware ranges featuring Scottish cushions & throws, ceramics, metal work, stained glass, textiles & giftware. Beautiful Landscape artwork. There will be stunning collections of jewellery, created from sterling silver, beads & precious gems.

Gates open at 11am and the event closes at 5pm.

Thirlestane Castle will also be open for free flow tours on the day, from 11am with last admittance at 3.30pm, for a discounted ticket of £10 per adult and £5 for children.
