Luxury Handcrafted Cushions

I took inspiration for this range of Staffa cushions from a trip in a small boat to the tiny Island of Staffa; 6 miles west off the Isle of Mull on the west coast of Scotland.

In Summer, I visited the island with my daughter in summer. We share a fascination of the strange volcanic symmetrical formations that rise out dramatically from the surrounding seas. Her interest is more academic than mine as she has a PhD in Geology.

The island is also home in the early summer to breeding pairs of Puffins. Well worth a scramble around.

I have aligned columns of vibrant tweed and velvet fabric to represent these natural formations. I apply a unique combination of fabric to create a structured and vibrant design for each cushion. Mixing different colours to create luxurious, elegant, and unique patterns.
